i need some help on engine removal

I have removed all the bellhousing bolts, now i guess its time to jack the engine up. The engine doesnt seem to be wanting to spread apart from the tranny. I cant get a pry bar in there to pry it apart, so what else could be wrong? Do i need to disconnect anything else?

Take off your engine mounts. The one the air cond compr. mounts to and the one below the alternater. It will make your life easier.

The problem is i cant get the tranny split apart from the engine. I didnt remove the ac comp. bracket and other bracket off yet, but i dont see how that will help in splitting the tranny apart.
