Well fellas looks like the 17th is gonna be the final date. Please everyone put a pencil mark on your respective calenders for the 17th.
We will be camping at NTB site (maintained by TTR ).
The roundup will be held at Barnwell Mtn recreational area : http://www.barnwellmountainra.com/
Please look on site for pricing for vehicles and camping as well as directions.
If you need to contact me, you can do it though BP or if need be I can be reached via cell phone- 214-683-1405
I have contacted the president of the TTR club (they maintain the campsite, long story) and he confirmed they have noone going up that weekend and the site is all ours.
Just as an FYI there will be prizes being handed out. TBD how yet, but there are enough for everyone to walk away with something, and believe me we got some good stuff, way more than expected, so after the event a big thank you from everyone needs to go to John Glancy of S.S.S.
I am going to try to get off work that Friday and head up Friday afternoon. I hope as many folks as possible can attend.
I plan to bring food for at least one group meal, will likely be chili dogs, etc..., other than that everone is on their own for food and beverages . I will also have a generator this year so we can have actual lights at the site if we really need them. Other than that there are no utilities at the campsite, there is a porta-potty. Showers are up at the main building.
*Note* This is a family event so bear that in mind. For those that have attended before, please use your judgment. For new attendees, please act accordingly and as you would with any other public event. For any other rules please refer to the rules section on the Barnwell site.
