Has anyone out there cut the circle ou under a Scout II hood and mounted a hood scoop for cold air induction. My 345 really torques the mounts and my air cleaner hits the underneath of the hood. I was thinking of cutting that area out and mounting a hood scoop on top. If anyone has done this, I would appreciate some pics.

There have been many that have put hood scoops on their rigs. Do a search for Hood Scoops and you will have hours of fun reading. Also, I think the majority used a Mustang 5.0 type scoop as it follows our hood lines the best or something.

I have a hood scoop set up on mine you might like. BTW, sounds like you need new engine mounts if the air cleaner is hitting the hood.

Scott definitely has the Best looking hood scoop I've seen. Here's a pic of the scoop at the National's BBQ, (with the owners).:punk::punk::punk:
Hope this finds you and the Mrs doing well, Scott!:D
