Hi I am a new guy. Bought my 79 with an automatic at the end of April. I have already put a lot of money in it and its a daily driver / work in progress. Is this a membership dues paying club?

So far I have changed to Rancho shocks, changed the rag joint, put on a soft top and a roll bar. I still want to finish adding a/c, rock sliders, swing out bumper with tire, gas can and jack carrier, dual battery system all new rubber and seals. I probably ought to concentrate on the gauges that don't work first. I am always open to suggestions. Thanks for hearing me. Hope to meet some more scouters some time.http://www.binderplanet.com/forums/images/smilies/redscout2.gif

howdy! welcome. the only dues we pay are busted knuckels. my advice is make it safe and make it all work. when it runs and drives good. making it look good is easy. to many people focus on the wrong things at the wrong time. and run out of money or lose faith in the project. you wil,l find all the help you need here. have fun and look around. you can learn a lot from searching this forum.

Nope no dues, just ask for help when you need it
and give help when you can

Awesome guys!! I posted some pics if you wanna check them out. I tried to post some pics of what I think is a great idea but it didn't come out in the camera. I replaced the rear view mirror with one from a Jeep Cherokee. This is my daily driver and searching for anything at night stinks so the new mirror has map lights in it. 10 bucks price plus shipping off of ebay.
