How's this?
All information is from "Standard Catalog of Americal Light Duty Trucks" first edition, krause publications.

It seemed bigger than i was expecting, but i might be wrong. Just want to make sure it is what i need before i buy it. for the axle's and engine on the '67

Actually, it is a Scout Traveler. The Traveler is 18" longer than the Scout ii. Other than the extra length, it is pretty much the same truck with a few minor differences.

Whats with all the rubber gloves in those pics...maybe you need to ask for the "crime scene" discount :D :gun_bandana:

Yep, same axles as a SII
Like MacIan said. Its basically just a stretched scoutII.
You gonna buy it?

I didn't notice the gloves till you pointed it out. That's funny! Better get that title just in case.:shifty::clown: Then again, a lot of old trucks get covered in mouse and rat poo after sitting a while. Maybe that's why he's wearing the gloves.:no::cornfused::stuart:

Since there are a lot of mixed and matched parts on the truck; it looks like. I would make sure that both axles are Dana 44s. There is probably not much choice in the rear. I would make sure the front and rear differential covers are the same size. I'd also check to make sure there are front disk brakes. I have seen D44 front axles with drums and D30 front axles with disks. Be sure and get what you think you are.
I would also make sure that they are the same ratio. Otherwise you will be investing in at least one ring and pinion set, bearings, etc. to the tune of about $300 or more plus labor. Search the BP for info on how to check them. The best bet though is to pull the cover and look at the ring gear. The ratio will be marked on the gear as will the axle type (Dana 44). This will also give you a chance to look inside and see the condition, chipped teeth on the gears and internals of the diff.

Ryan
What do you want for the front seats/bases and rear seat? They look to be in decent shape?
Also the metal inner door panels?

What do you want for the rear bumper and brackets? I might be interested in the Driver side inner fender if its not too badly damaged??? The passenger side inner fender is obviously toast! So I wont be needing that side.
Thanks,
MacIan

For that matter, since I have so many people after things form the '76 would you guys be interested in a wrench day out in weatherford? It is about a hour west of dallas. But i can show off my new scout, you guys can get the parts you want and look to see if there is something else you need, maybe get the axle's and/or engine mounted in the '67 frame. And of course throw something on the grill, we also have a pool.

when i get ready to start my SOA i will try to get a wrenchday together and have everyone out.
*BTW, the scout i just bought has most of the glass(and kind of tinted) already out if anyone needs some, and a full manual and brochure for the '76 scout traveler(if anyone was interested). I just brought it home today, i am going to post it on craigslist prolly next weekend, PM me if you need anything.
