Here is an interesting book for those of us in the northwest. It's divided into four parts, the first of which really is very "dry." I skipped most of part one. The other three parts are Central, Northeastern, and Southeastern. There is a lot of information for those wanting to explore Oregon east of the Cascades.

I bought mine from Amazon. They were the best price I found.

Does it have trail information, or is it geared more for the highway cruise? I've been exploring eastern Oregon's secondary and tertiery highways for months, trying to look at as many small towns and out-of-the-way places, but I haven't had a chance to look for off road activities. There are some great places to stop and grab a bite and socialize with locals, and the roads traverse widely varying terrain within just a few miles.

I don't believe there is any trail information. The book is primarily aimed at the general public. It's been a while since I have read any of it, and I don't have the book here, and I'm having one of those CRS moments that comes with age. It's in the book cabinet at my other place in central Oregon.
