I have a friend who is making these locally and he wants to market them to scout owners. I have one on my beast and I love the strength

The simple part is all the owner has to do is cut the ends off the standard drag link, slide the round drag link into the square tube, weld a few button holes and around the ends and viola. No more bending and cutting and filling the gap and angle iron and so on..... Price will be $100 shipping included in the continential US.

the finished product looks like this....

This gives you an idea of interior construction. The plates are on both the front and the back so that the square tube is sandwiched in between them very strong

it is square heavy wall tube and thick plates that are welded and also button welded for extra strength....

PM me with any interest and I can get a hold of him....... He makes them to order and if you have a larger than normal lift he can customize what you need....

why are the upper ends of square tube mitered to fit perfect but the lower ends are just butted up without fitting properly? Even if done properly you are still relying on the buyers welding to hold it together, there is no adjustment at either ends for alignment. I think he needs to look into the design a little more before trying to sell them. Just my .02

He does a version with threaded bungs so that you can just screw in a TRE. the angles that you see were just a rough cut. This is designed for the do it your selfer or you can pay a little extra for a finished conversion and send your drag link to him. either way the welds are pretty simple for the average welder and the thing is super strong... I'll put up a pic of mine installed and finished later really looks nice and works good.
