Talked with a family member today, you folks are havining a pretty tough winter. My family is at the tip of Lake Michigan and are expecting about a foot of "new" snow.
My brother asked me if I knew any one up there that had an "extra" scout to lend. I explained to him that there is no such thing as an "extra scout"

Fred, tell your brother to keep an eye on "northern michigan" on craigslist.. there was one on there for like 300 bucks... (it was kinda rough) but they pop up on there quite a bit..

Dennis that is a great clip. Fred, it has been near zero, below or single digits now about 75% of the time. It really stinks everything is so brittle. My buddies jeep doors cracked bad because it was so cold. It was like a heat wave I was outside in the sunshine sunday and took the 1980 with the top off for a drive with just a long sleeve shirt, it was 41 outside and felt great. It's now like 11 but sunday again 46...hello short sleeve shirts.

I'm at work right now in South Bend, and it's hardly snowing here.....but driving home West to LaPorte county might be a treat :( The main snow is around LaPorte, West.....but lake effect snow is never an 'exact science'. I need another foot of snow like I need.....a wife like the one in the film clip! And as far as 'spare' Scouts, I just finally got one that runs and stops last night, now I have to get the plow mounted, winter ain't over......

I went and checked that first one out. It was beyond a project. It had one decent fender and thats just about all that was left of it. It had a running 196 in it, but not worth the $250 i could have got it for. I think he sold it now.
