Went and picked up some sheet metal from a guy and ended up buying a bunch of other stuff, like I need it. I then saw in the back barn a 72 scout. He brought it back from Arkansas. Incredably rust free. a few dents but no rust. Right front fender has been repainted as it has filler at the top from a dent. The only rust is a little in the front passenger floor at firewall, small patch 4" X 4" should take care of that. But all mounts are great etc. It had been stored inside for 12 years. Interior is clean to. My eyes got as large as a dinner plate when I saw how clean it was. 90K on it. I will get pics when I get it home probably next month.

It's hard thats why the wagonmaster is on hold. Any free time I have thats what i do with it. Last week went to bed at 10 couldn't sleep so at midnight went out in the garage worked till 5:30a.m. came in cleaned up got the boy off to school then went to work. Got home one day this week at 4:30 worked on the 1980 till 9:30. so a few days like that here and there make alot of progress. Plus usually get a hour or so in during the week before dinner almost everyday after I get home from work. I just have to micro manage my time. Although getting older it is harder and harder for me not to feel the effects of doing all nighters. Probably will be doing a all nighter in the next week or two when I can paint the front end of the 1980.

Holy Crap! I leave for a bit & look at what I've missed. Darren posts his own pictures!!! :gunsmilie:
Nice find. Should nickname it "Hog"
.. gotta say tho -- pace yourself! You'll burn out on everything if you don't slow down for a bit... put down the grinder, grab your son and go for a pizza. The old iron can wait... it's been waiting for 28+ years.
Breathe, enjoy, repeat.
