I've been infected with a 69' CO-1600 and haven't a clue where to go looking for Medium-Duty Parts.

Any CO-LoadStars would me great! early CargoStars would also be helpful.

What exactly are you needing?

Almost all of the running gear is the same as the regular Loadstars.

Even some of the cab parts interchange.

IHC was real big on making one part fit several different applications.

Drop by the house when you're in the area, I'll put the Cargostar power steering gear I have in front of the horse trailer for you to take :) I'll dig in the storage building and see if there's anything else left over from the fish truck. Want a rebuilt MV404?

There's Fresno Truck Wrecking, and Valley Truck Parts has a big yard in Dinuba. American Truck Parts in Porterville. Riverside Truck Salvage in Riverbank. Couple in Sacramento that Doc may have cased. Definitely give Doc a shout, he has a CO1600 that used to live here as well ;)

Subway truck salvage in Sacramento is a good source.

I'll be stripping a CO Loadstar probably in May. I want the power steering but there will be other parts. Come up and help and they are yours! The truck is in Half Moon Bay.

If you're in the San Jose area, there is a Specialty Truck Parts near the junction of Hwy 101 and Hwy 17 (880 now??). I haven't been there in years so have no idea what you might find there, but it was all bigger trucks.

If somebody want the power steering box, pump or bracket off the load star let me know, it won't be there much longer.

I'd love to have it but I'm stuck with the 7day work week for the next month or so. :(
