I am picking up a 1950 L110 cab this weekend and it has no doors. I found a guy selling doors from a 52 L130. I was wondering if someone might know if they would work. I have always been a Scout II guy so this is new to me.
Thanks for any help.
Bryan
Unfortunately, no, they are not the same. In 1950, the door hinges were hidden, and in 1951-1956, the door hinges were external, and not hidden. So, you have to use 1950 doors with a 1950 cab. Starting in 1951, all the doors and cabs will interchange. There are other differences from year to year, but the doors will still work with different cabs.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if the doors are the same size and shape. I am a pretty good metal worker and could probably make hinges that would work.
Bryan
Yes, they are the same size and shape, if you get the hinges with the doors, it might not be too hard of a conversion.

Did the man you were buying the doors from happen to have the steering box off of the Li30 because I am in need of one. My E-Mail is gregoryiz@yahoo.com Thank you Izak Gregory
