Looks like you did a nice job on the model! I have 4 of the original models from the 70's, two of which I built back then. (Three Scout II's and one SSII). I also bought the re-issue when it came out recently but have not built it yet. I have thought about buying a few more and using one as a donor (body parts) to make a Terra or Traveler. Maybe somebody else has already beat me to this.

I thought about taking the dremel tool and making the top removable. A terra or traveller would be realy cool

Is that a body lift too? check out the gap between the body and bumper.

Yesh it is a really crappy design for the bumper attachment, the glue wouldn't hold

woops I guess I shoulda made em a little smaller, looks like the same color choice as yours
I used tires from the hotwheels monster trucks and did a axle flip
