IHSTO Garage Sale & Fund Raiser, Saturday, April 26th, 10:00am to 6:00pm

I know there are alot of things going on this month, alot of things you would like to do and participate in, and not to mention getting all your vehicles prep'd for participating in spring and summer outings.

BUT! On one particular day, Saturday, April 26th, the club is needing your help. As you should know by now, we try to ask for very little, but do our most to give alot in return -- with no dues, no subscriptions, and no donation boxes rattling in front of you.

And we would like to do more. Unfortunately, printing, postage, our sponsorship of the NW Binders Roundup, and other activities need coinage.

Last year, less than a handful of garage sales, with the kind participation of all of you, funded the greasing of IHSTO's wheels for nearly a year. Take a few moments out of this busy month to check your closets, cupboards, attics, and garages for anything you might like to donate and drop them off Friday, April 25th after 4:00pm at:1450 E. Cleveland St. (http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?addtohistory=&country=US&address=1450+E.+Cleveland+St.&city=Woodburn&state=OR&zipcode=97071&historyid=&submit.x=0&submit.y=0) , in Woodburn.

To make other arrangements or if you have any questions, contact Club Secretary, Lisa Donnelly at 503-981-8494.

And thanks, in advance, for your help this year.

Members and Friends,

As an aside to this, I will be hosting an IH parts swap meet as well on the same day, at the same address.

Swap, sell, or donate some of your proceeds to IHSTO if you wish, but the focus will be finding your missing part to finish off your IH restoration, or the crucial part for your wheeler that you so desperately need.

The only request is this, if you bring it and it doesn't sell, please take it home with you :D

I have a whole pile of stuff I can donate. Think somebody can use this old starter for a Stutz Bearcat?:D Just kidding. My buddy is getting married that day so I cant stick around but I can drop stuff off in the morning of or the night before.

Next weekend, folks.

We had great participation last year. This year, I know many of your already have piles of donated garage sale items in mind.

If you haven't already done so, please contact our hosts, John & Lisa, so they can be available to accept your contributions prior to the Saturday sale.

And, plan on hanging out with us this day for some good conversation and maybe a bowl of chili and corn bread. :), while we try to raise club funds for this year.

Members and Friends,

As our Garage sale nears, the need for help manning the sale is a top priority.

A group of about 5-6 folks for the day would be great, not only to help sell, but to box up the stuff that doesn't at the end of the day, and get it to Goodwill, or back to owners.

As was done last time around, if it doesn't sell, and you WANT IT BACK, you need to take it home THAT DAY.

Everything else will be donated to Goodwill industries.

Please chime in if you can lend a hand to this most important IHSTO fundraiser.

Keep on Binderin',

John

John,
I will be there Saturday morning before work, and Sunday, after Church, for the afternoon to either lend a hand with a second day of sales or to donate the services of my back for the pack-away.

Linda and I will be down on Friday after 4 with some items for the sale and we are planning on helping clean up after the sale. Let us know when you want us there. We will call before we leave on Saturday to see if you have decided to run the sale a second day or feel free to call us. See you on Friday.

I'll be there sometime after 4 on Friday with some things for the sale. I just sent a bunch of stuff to a thrift store a few months ago, so I'm having a little trouble rounding up more. Too bad I didn't know about this back then.

The wedding I am to attend doesnt start until 1pm so I can be at your place around 9-9:30 to drop off stuff and help set up. I will have to leave around 11 or so. Hope that helps
