Many thanks to Jeff and Jenny for doing all the work, getting the food, table and chairs, etc. and having the meeting at Jeff's house in Hamel IL. This was inspite of having no power, due to the recent ice and snow storm. We enjoyed great food and the secret santa gifts and all the fun of being with other club members. There were 33 in attendance including members and their guests. What we did miss is all the members who made reservations but did not show up or even call to cancell, you knew that the club was paying for the meals! so there was a lot left over. Fortunately Jeff was able to donate it to a food pantry to help others. The club officers elected for 2007 are: Don Henke, President; Jason Roedel, Treasurer and membership chairman; Jeff Eggemeyer, Trail Boss. WE still need a secretary! Contact me if you wish to fill this position. Carissa Ross is working on a club calendar for 2007, contact her for details. Leon has invited all for a New Years trail ride at his farm, contact him for details. The 1st club meeting in 2007 will be Feb.3rd , a members only trail ride at the Holton's. Please return to me or Jason the membership applications which were included in the last newsletter so we can have updated information and make up membrship cards.
