Well we had such a good time at the March meeting that we are going to do it all over again. John and Charlie Stewart still need our help so I have schelduled the April meeting at their place to move more of their collection to Leon's. Same as last time--be there about 9am with whatever you have, trucks, trailers, or just come and help load and unload. Charlie will again cook up some of his famous chile, you can bring whatever you wish to share with others. We will have a short meeting during lunch break. See you there! Don

NOTE TO ALL - I believe Don meant the APRIL 1, 2006 Meeting. :D

Anyone traveling over from the Missouri side who would like to caravan over, I will offer up the following...

Meeting at Quick Trip (QT) at Highway 44 and Big Bend (in Kirkwood,MO)
QT is located on the SE corner of the intersection
Departure time will be 8:30 am

Last time, we brought something to share for lunch (i.e. chips, slaw, pop, salad, etc...). Also a trailer and good pair of work gloves are nice-to-haves.

The club spent the morning loading up, ate lunch and headed for Greenville, IL around 2pm. Greenville is about 45 min. NE of O'Fallon, IL for those who are trying to plan their day.

Just a heads up on the moving. We have been moving some things this past weekend.I don't know how much is left.John and Charlie were at the house during the day and late Saturday night and then brought some more things Sunday also.I know that they are planning on keeping the storage unit.So we shouldn't have that heavy of a load.We might have a easy day. Thanks Leon

Thanks Jason for the correction--caravaning over is a good idea for those who have not been to the Stewarts. Yes I meant April 1st. John and Charlie still have a lot to move, they may keep a smaller storage unit for some things but we will be moving most of it. WE will take time for a meeting after lunch to discuss the May 6th trailride and the club trail ride rules. ------------to Mark in KY. Yes you are welcome to attend any of our meetings, they will be posted on this forum, for directions I will need your e-mail add. Don

I would like to thank all who showed up for the meeting Andy Pullen, who drove the longest distance, David Dewolf our newest member, Bob Moessmer wtih the biggest vehicle(the bus), Leon ross and family with their new('73) 1110 pickup( a real beauty),Bill Cooper, with his newly installed diesel in his '80 Scout II, John and Charlie Stewart for a great lunch( Charlies Beans and Hot Dogs & Brats cooked by John. I brought a cake so we could celerate Charlie's recent birthday. After a long morning loading, we broke for the meeting and lunch, some had to leave, others headed to Leon's to unload and put it all away. A lot of hard work, well done by all, thanks. Don
