I Just Installed The 4in Lift Springs In The Front Of My Traveler. And I Did An Soa In The Rear I Didnt Think It Would Be That Big Of A Difference. It Looks Like A Big Difference. I Am Going To Make Shackles For The Front To Level It Out Hopefully. So The ???? Is How Much Lift Is A Soa In The Rear???? I Havent Had In On Level Ground To Measure It Yet
Thanx Bob

Assuming stock springs and axle were used, should be the dia. of your axle. Dont know exactly what measurement is. 4"? A good lift.

Ditto on the double posting - shame shame :D

2.75" (axle tube) + 1.0 (spring perch) + 2.0 (Springs) = 5.75" at the minumum.

4" Springs = About 3" if they are used...

Difference of at least 2.75" requiring a shackle 5.5" longer than stock!! WOW that would be a touch scary.

Well, I am not going to be nice.

In fact, I have had just about enough of you making IHSTO look bad on Pirate4x4.com.

I personally think that you should pick a website, and run with it. If that is the BB, fine, if it is Pirate, fine.

And get the damn IHSTO out of your sig over there. You are an embarrassment to us. I founded this club with Jack Campbell with only one thing in mind, that we would be a family, we would have fun, and we would enjoy each others company.

Well, now you have done pissed off grandpa, and if I had my way you would be out behind the woodshed getting your butt tanned.

Grow up. Who gives a crap what they do on the PBB. But you making IHSTO look bad over there is not only an affront to our membership, it is an affront to all of the hard work IHSTO has done to build itself into one of the largest IH clubs in the nation.

Think long and hard about what you say next, brother..... you are burning bridges faster than Sherman did in Georgia.

Bob- The great thing about the internet is, you can find almost anything you need.

IHSTO is for club activities and local resources. Tech talk is for just that, tech questions and general gear head stuff.

Pirate was started by a group of hard core rock crawlers from California. So the information and people there revolve around hard core crawling.

What I'm getting at is, there is a place for everything. You just need to do a better job of finding what that is.

Of course your welcome at our club and functions. Were just trying to help you enjoy your IH to the fullest.

Ditto.

Just do us a favor, and don't throw rocks in glass houses with our name painted on the side of your car next time.

OK? :)
