While I'd gladly drive into NE for a meet and greet, I'm also taking Bill's suggestion for a local rallye (wink) of the guys I see to be within an hour.

Calling bigfatjr, budget76, Drex, d8late63, Eric, clarkekent, mookiemangrove.

How about Princeton or a sleepy beach bar or Manhattan or our little Borough of Hightstown for that matter?

We have 2 '79 SIIs at this point. I'd love to hear some build suggestions. Perhaps we can have Eric show us his inspiration? Anybody yet involved with Triple Diamond?

I can do most weeknights and weekends with a work schedule of 24 hrs on and 48 hrs off.

andrew,

sounds like a good spot. princeton is about an hour away, and my dad is there 4 days a week for work. could probably figure out a way me and my dad could get up there. mine would probably not be ready, but my dads could easily make it. i am a member of triplediamond, and so is Darel, Jeff Jamison, mike Moran, Ray Cass that i know of on here. i dont know how often they are on this thread, but im sure at least one of them would come. hopefully my dad would be able to drive, sinc i dont have a liscense.

I am in. Central Jersey is best for me. If you need a suggested meeting spot, I know the area very well.

Princeton seems logical and the guys from Manasquan seem ok with that choice. Mercerville works too then we're right by Eric's truck (provided it's still there.)

I wouldn't mind some input on the work I have ahead of me. We're (family and Scouts) in Hightstown. (Exit 8 off the Turnpike, on Route 33, close to I-195).

Sounds like 4 of us so far and I haven't heard from all the gang I called out.

Pizza and beverages? Sat. 3/19 or a weekday evening sooner?

Weekends only for me. I live and work over an hour from Mercer County and there is no way I can make it during the week. Also, my truck is topless and rust free so there is no way I'll be driving it until spring. If the number of people is limited we can meet up at my buddys house where I keep my rig. It's in Hamilton which is a couple towns west of Princeton.

I am in for a meeting in Central NJ. The warmer the better as I have a top but it barely bolts on. No heat...weak wipers...dim lights. Mine is not pretty but I wil l get there!! I am out of town from March 11-26th so if the date is outside that you can count me in!!

How about an April weekend then so bigfatjr can come out to play?

Sunday 3rd?

This is the secretive AREA 51? I'm fine with that too. We'd come in a Scooby-doo since two '79s are not yet one road worthy truck.

I believe it's at least an hour north of the meeting place we're narrowing in on.

Why limit ourselves? How about pizza and beer early in April for expressed purpose of planning a wheelin' trip to Mahwah?

Bill,

What's good for you for Mahwah? I think we could do 4/3 or 4/16. Either of those work for a trip down from CT?

Tom from Northcentral PA chiming in -- Depending on my unpredictable work schedule I would be interested in meeting up with you all and seeing what kind of wheeling is available -

For the meeting I'd likely come solo - for the wheeling I'd like to bring the boys ages 6 & 4.

I'd also like to feel ya' all out for what kind of wheeling we're talking about... I'd prefer not to bend, beat, or seriously scratch - which may make me a non-participant.

Please keep me in the loop -

Tom,

Sounds good. Once the Kennedy Scout is fully operational our outings will include girls who are 7 and 5.

Bill will be able to tell you better but I think the off-roading is a mix with choices about how severe you wanna get.

Looks like we're headed to dates in April. One off-road, one more like meet and greet/show and shine.

Nice to hear from you.

sounds like a good idea. ill have to check with my dad that he's free thatday, but im sure we will be able to amke it. how about a offroad run later in the month so i have time to get mine running right, since he is trying to semi-restore his and doesnt need any more 'weight removal'

Hey Andrew--Was this place formerly known as the Court Jester or something like that? Also, I'll go but I won't be able to bring my rig. I just pulled the springs and they are on their way back to Alcan for a little fine tuning to bring the body a little closer to terra firma. My Scout is once more keeping a set of jackstands from floating off into space. Estimated time of completion (allowing for procrastination on my part) 6 weeks from today.

3hrs 37 mins from Jersey Shore, PA to Hightstown, NJ one way -- Looks like 440 miles round trip.

I'm going to have to pass on the meeting this time - I'll continue to look for options to come meet with you all.

Hi,
North Brunswick NJ chiming in here. I do not get on the list as often as i like to, but would be interested in any events comming up, meet and greets ect. I guess i missed the last one. Even if we were to meet at some sort of car show? My other club sponsors "fannywood day" in fanwood NJ (the cougar club of nj/pa) and i usually attend that one with the truck.

hi scene.........i want to change my Blue LED Mod from its default location on the Controller Board........... to a new location , extend it with wires and place the LED on the right side of the GC close to the grill........not on the Fan side people.

my question is , is it safe ?.......or extending with wires is a bad idea and unsafe ?.........

any input is cool

Hi, sorry I can't answer your question, but you might have more luck in the general IH tech form on the main page. Lots of knowledgeable people there that don't frequent the northeast boards :).

Hi Joomies.

I have tried to read through the forum with the same subject, but didnt get any closer.
I added a menu element in my main menu. The element should have been a link to the UddeIM inbox but right after reloading i got the famous: "Direct Access to this location is not allowed."

Tried changing the theme, deleting the component, mod and plugins but no luck
