Inevitably it happens. That moment when your street rig becomes a trail rig. Then that moment when your trail rig becomes a buggy. In a way it's sad because it used to look so good, but I knew that it was only skin deep. It'd never be a show truck, as it had been built before. But now, it's a buggy. And I'm happy at the prospect of running harder trails. Plus it's fun to poke at the J**P guys.... ;)
Stripped off the front fenders/hood/grill. Going in for a tube front end, along with moving the batteries to the bed. Removed the rear seat. Getting a fuel cell. Sold the 37" boggers. Moving up to 39.5's. The axles will have to last for a while until this winter, when bigger ones arrive. Maybe 60's, but hopefully Rockwells....
Where in the chain is your rig? Don't be surprised if it moves from street to trail to beyond..... :D

Rob,
Are you going to teach your Scout anymore tricks? I think it's got the roll over trick down. How about, Sit....or, stay?:D Or, does it just like to have it's oil pan rubbed?:D

The trick I really need to teach it is the one where it goes and gets me a beer when we are back at the campsite after a hard day of wheelin. My wife does it now but has a real problem with it - JUST KIDDING HONEY!!!
Really tho, I can't believe those FG panels didn't even crack. Not so lucky for the front fenders. Check out the pic below of the drivers side front - free fender anyone?!
