All right, I wish that I had more details on this. It appears as if we are all still a little fuzzy. I would like to be a part of this but I'm not sure I would even know where to go as of right now. Seems to me that the only thing nailed down right now is that we are meeting and we are going to part out a free scout. Now the following questions have yet to be answered:

Where are we meeting? This seems to go back and forth, sounds like we are meeting near the scout in question are this point.

When are we meeting? I think it around 8-8:30 correct?

How is the Scout being moved? I said I could provide a truck and trailer, am I still being held to this? No further discussion was made regarding this matter.

Where are we taking the Scout? This one has me totally confused.

Ok well that seemed to nail it down in 4 easy questions right? Soon as all this is answer let me know.

Additional information that probably only dave could provide:

How accessible is the Scout?

Will the Scout roll? Does is need air in the tires or some tires replaced?

Is it in the woods/field/backyard/front yard?

What is going to be needed to get it on the trailer?

Other questions/situations to be handled:

Where is the stuff that no one wants going?

Some stuff can go to the junkyard, what about items the junkyard wont except?

What will happen with any fluids removed from the vehicle?

Ok thats all from here.

Chad;
I hope I can answer your questions correctly ( if not somebody please chime in).

I believe we are meeting at a Mobile gas station / truck stop on rt 117 in leominster. Take rt 190 south to rt 117 at bottom of off ramp take right, you can't miss it.

It has been mentioned that we'll all meet at or around 8-8:30, BUT since the guy cant meet us to pick up the truck until 9-10 if your running behind, no problem. there is a D&D there so we wont go hungry.

Your truck & trailer would be the prefered method of transportation, unless anyone else has a better idea.

The Scout will be taken to my house in Baldwinville, about a half an hour from out meeting place.

Any other questions, post 'em.... we'll get to them.

I spoke with Wayne the other day & he and I agree, Saturday is not so much about the parts as it is the people. Lets all have fun.

Dave,

Is the scout in rolling condition? I can bring tires on rims if we need to change some. It will go on the trailer easier with all the tires blown up. Also How close can I get to it with the trailer?

I think we nailed the meeting place to be at the Rte 117 Mobil / Dunken Dounts truck stop on Rte 117 in Lancaster. I hope that works for everyone.
I'm sorry if I confused everyone on this. See you Saturday.

Ok, Looks like were all set to go. I'll be there, I should have an 8000 lbs winch on the front of my trailer by then to pull the scout on with, also Jay said he was bringing an electric winch, so we should be all set with load, long as it wil roll :o). See y'all Satdi!

Who has a cell phone that will for sure be in atendance? I'd like to be able to call someone if I'm running late, or if I abort.[/QUOTE]

Sadly, the Southern most member of this little band of scouters has to beg out at this point. Sorry fellas. I'm having trouble with 7 hours on the road with all of life's little pleasures around the house. Maybe I could even get a few hours in on making our Scout road worthy instead. Happy hunting!

Chad;
First off, let me tell everyone I have NOT seen this truck. It was offered to me for free & I in turn decided to make a "day" of it for all.....I don't know what to expect. The owner told me he'd pull it out of the woods (?) so it can be loaded up. AGAIN, I don't know the condition of the truck. To me.....I just want the comeradiere (?) of the group.

Bill:
my cell # is 774-249-8385. Give me a buzz & let me know your status. If your sick....by all means, use the weekend to rest up, I'm sure we'll cross paths another time.

Hey Guys,
I would have liked to make the trip today but I'mgetting ready to head to SC for a few days (business).
I will be in the Northborough/Marlboro Mass. area on Wednesday until Friday. Is this close to anyone? Maybe we can get together for some coffee and binder talk?
