---I didn't think security on those MaxxPros was as tight as it should have been, considering I was allowed to walk right up to one and jokingly measure the distance between leaf springs and while escorts were there, I was offered a look inside.

---AFAIC, this here is like setting our technology right on the table for unwanteds to be able to view. Make it easier for them to figure out why it was so hard to penetrate the armor. FWIW, I have seen a couple of the first MaxxPros we sent over there come into the shop on low-boys. Some that were hit with RPGs and didn't do anything but scratch a "passenger's" arm on a control board, because he wasn't secured to his seat. The ones over there who were angered by these beast of machinery, those who placed roadside bombs at 138 different angles trying to hurt/kill someone, will be sure to stick their noses in the door to get up close to them.

:death::dig:

---Not so sure that area is such a good idea to open shop. I will make sure I forget the post when I drop off a resume. I'd probably say something that would be considered offensive... while someone of stature was standing nearby.

just as a note to this t, I used to work for a company that did wrecker bed installs for Miller Industries in Chattanooga, TN.
Miller hadd evidently won the military contract[ go figure, they are the worlds largest manufacturer of heavy towing equipment], we were given about 100 of the large 50 and 60 ton rotators to install on international all wheel drive chassis. it woulda been cool to have obtained one of those atlas transfer cases lol. anyway after installing the units and returning them they were shipped to a holding area in the middle east. of unknown location to us, but wouldnt ya know the guys with the bombs found them. blew up all 200 or so of them in one day.
Gotta give a great big thumbs up to the guys in strategic planning. put all your eggs in one basket so when someone steps in it they are all broken.
just think our tax dollars pay those guys salaries. :censored:
and buy the way each of these units cost around 500,000 each. with all the accessories which were in them.
