Thumbs down Re: Navistar-Mahindra to build trucks in USA?

Scott Jaguar beside us was all set up to be the Charlotte Mahindra dealer... They just disapeared into the night. There seem to be building some serious credibility issues.

I have driven Mahindras in Mexico and Guatamala. If you combine a tin can with a unbalanced diesel engine and goofy styling, you would be picturing thier truck. Brakes appeared to be optional on them. The area in Guatamala we were in is very steep mountians. Everyone just put them in low gear and prayed that the driveshaft held untill they get to the bottom. I got passed by one that had a full size donkey in the back... From the looks of all the crap sprayed on the tailgate, it had been a scarey ride!

Default Love thy Mahindra

I see these going the way of the ARO24 and the Outlander and that it'll never see the light of day. I hope I'm wrong, but if I am I don't know that I could bring myself to drive that butt ugly pos anyway.
