Default 1971 Scout 2 carb rebuild question

Hi,
Just got a Scout. I'm in the middle of rebuilding the carb. The previous rebuild was a real mess. Someone used silicon to seal surfaces , the float was way off and now I just noticed the Pump Discharge Weight is missing. Can I get by without it, or should I try and find it some where....Also, any thoughts on where I may be able to find it. Its a Holley, 2300 (I think).
Thanks
